Reducing GCP Costs and increase Response times
• Changing variables as part of schema to save memory and computation costs.
• Response times increased by 15-20% for a payload of 300 fares from Amadeus
Booking flow for X-sell products
• Supporting cross-sell team in adding new products on website and conducting A/B tests
• The results of our front-end tests led to increase of margin by 1.5eur/booking and increase of net X-sell orders by 15% MoM

Maintaining Business Rules API
• Monitoring and maintaining key rules-api costs.
• Using kibana, grafana, looker to make sure booking flow is maintained during price changes
Build cross-team platform products
• Building automation scripts to support various teams
• Built and integrated API endpoints from a python microservice into rules-api engine
• This end-point removed manual data entry for payment cost prediction and reduced overflow errors by 95%
• Migrated a hedging report for airline ticket purchases which negated manual data entry and prevented losses of approximately €100k euros due to FX fluctuations
• Integrated the predictions from Machine Learning model into pricing calculations to automatically calculate surcharge decisions

Daily Market Analysis
• Daily fare search and price optimisation using SQL, Python and Looker
• Built Python scripts to automatically identify anomalies in surcharge calculations
Competition Analysis Using Skyscanner data
• Skyscanner gives data regarding price difference between different competitors from its website
• Built a python script to give a summary on market performance and competitive analysis
• This report was scaled up and certain KPIs are currently used to train a Machine Learning odel
